Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Our mission: create the best way to have a conversation and share an experience when you can't physically be with the most important people in your life. The FaceTime Foundation team builds distributed protocols, systems, and APIs that power FaceTime, SharePlay, and Shared with You across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. SharePlay and the Group Activities framework let people share experiences in FaceTime, Messages, and nearby. Whether watching a movie, listening to music, or collaborating in an app, SharePlay keeps everyone in sync across devices. You'll help shape these APIs and build the systems that enable developers to bring shared experiences into their own apps. Working primarily in Swift and Objective-C, you'll build protocols, frameworks, and daemons that enable reliable, high-quality calling experiences. You'll collaborate across teams, develop defensible opinions on what to keep and what to change, and bring empathy for the countless users who rely on us every day.
