Speech Kids NY is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) to join our school-based and pediatric team in Brooklyn, NY.
Position Overview In this role, you will work with preschool and school-age students, providing speech and language services focused on evaluation, treatment, and individualized intervention planning. You will collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication goals.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy targeting articulation, fluency, language, and communication skills
Deliver early intervention services for children with speech and language delays
Educate families on strategies to support communication development at home
Collaborate with school staff and related service providers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress
Participate in ongoing professional development
Schedule
Guaranteed 6 hours per day (30 hours per week)
5 hours per day of direct therapy
1 hour per day of paid paperwork/documentation
In-person only
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
NYS Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) required
Clinical Fellows welcome
CCC-SLP preferred but not required
NY State Speech-Language Pathology License preferred
Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
Compensation (W-2)
$65/hour – Clinical Fellows (CFs)
$75/hour – Licensed SLPs
