Fund Tax Accountant

Required Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3–5 years of experience in financial services with direct exposure to hedge fund, mutual fund, or investment company tax environments
Investment fund tax accounting expertise (hedge funds, mutual funds, or investment vehicles)
Strong understanding of fixed income securities and derivatives within a tax or accounting context
li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for tax analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Experience with offshore fund structures and international tax reporting Exposure to ASC 740 (Uncertain Tax Positions)
Familiarity with tax and accounting platforms such as Brightline, K1x, Alteryx, Workday, or SS&C GlobeOp
Experience supporting accounting or tax system implementations or enhancements
Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills
CPA or MST designation (completed or in progress)
