About the Role Lockheed Martin is looking for a dynamic leader that will lead a fast‑paced effort to demonstrate the first flight of exciting new technologies. This will be a high‑impact, high‑visibility role where a creative and impactful leader has an opportunity to shine. The leader will be responsible for the FSW and GNC team for the program and will be the primary interface with program leadership.

Basic Qualifications

Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi‑disciplined teams

Experience working embedded software development

Experience leading software development teams

Experience managing software development projects

Desired Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Agile/DevSecOps

Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

9x80 every other Friday off.
