Accounts Payable Specialist $75,000/yr
A fast-growing company seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This role supports the teams, ensuring accurate processing and recording of job-related expenses. The AP Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the financial accuracy of projects, with opportunities to contribute to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary up to $75,000 annually

Responsibilities:
Review and validate incoming invoices, obtaining necessary approvals from project managers (PMs)
Accurately input invoice data into Timberline/Sage 300 accounting software
Compile and circulate weekly payable summaries for PM evaluation
Collaborate with PMs to manage monthly billing and invoicing tasks
Create and share monthly financial reports with PMs and the CFO
Monitor and confirm the accuracy of project expenses and change orders
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
Minimum 1-2 years of accounts payable experience, ideally in construction or real estate industries
Experience with accounting software such as Timberline/Sage 300, TimberScan, or Avidis a strong advantage
Familiarity with project contracts, invoices, and change orders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
