About the role We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Strategy & Corporate Accounting Lead to join our Finance and Accounting team. This role is perfect for a driven professional who is passionate about media, entertainment, and technology. Key Responsibilities

Assist with the monthly accounting close process including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules

Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards

Prepare monthly P&Ls with actual vs. budget and forecast for each Division/Department, and research variances as needed

Responsible for maintaining the A/R aging and ensuring timely collection of receivables

Maintain revenue recognition schedules based on legal agreements and relevant accounting guidance

Work with the A/P team to ensure invoices are coded correctly and processed in a timely manner

Assist with cash management including preparation of the cash flow (direct method) and cash forecasting

Participate in the preparation of the annual operating plan and quarterly forecast

Assist with internal and external audits

Respond to management questions by researching and analyzing data

Support special projects and process improvement initiatives

Research technical accounting issues as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

3-6 years of Finance or Accounting experience; Entertainment industry experience a plus

CPA, MBA, master’s in accounting, or public accounting experience a plus

Strong Excel and Word skills required, NetSuite experience a plus

Detailed oriented

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues across the organization

Strong analytical skills required; along with attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines

Able to work independently and as part of a team to accomplish the goals of the accounting department

Strong time management and interpersonal skills
