Casco Bay Branch

aquatics program into its next chapter of growth. As Aquatics Director,you'llbe part of the Casco Bay Branch leadership team - a group of directors working together to advance our mission and serve our community.You'llalso connect and collaborate with aquatics colleagues across our three-branch Association, sharing resources, ideas, and best practices. You'll have the opportunity to significantly grow our programs, develop talented staff, and ensure that everyone in our community has access to water safety lessons and the joy of swimming. This is a role for someone who loves a challenge and sees potential.You'llbe part of both the Casco Bay Branch leadership team (reporting to the Branch Executive) and our Association-wide aquatics team, with colleagues across all three branches ready to collaborate, share ideas, and support your success. Build and inspire your team:Create a positive, mission-driven culture where staff thrive, grow professionally, and feel deeply connected to our work Expand our reach:Grow swim lessons, water-based exercise classes, and competitive swim programs, to serve more children, adults, and families Strengthen connections:Collaborate with branch colleagues and aquatics leadership across our three branches, sharing ideas and resources that strengthen our entire YMCA community Innovate and improve:Develop creative programming, strengthen operations, and build systems that support sustainable growth Develop future leaders:Mentor staff and help build the next generation of aquatics professionals Ensure safety excellence:Maintainthe highest standards for aquatic safety, staff training, and emergency preparedness Qualifications

Apassionate, determined leader who thrives on growth and building strong teams. Someone with a minimum of3-5 years of supervisory experience anda track recordof positive team development. Relationship-builder withstrong communicationskills and genuine care for both staff and community. Certified (or willing to obtain certifications) and experienced in lifeguarding, CPR, and swim instruction. Committed toequity and inclusion.
