Overview We are partnering with our client to locate both a Senior and a junior/mid-level HW Design/Electrical Engineer. In these full-time, direct hire, onsite permanent positions for our extremely successful and innovative client, the senior role will lead the design and development (hands‑on) of complex electronic systems, including analog and digital circuitry (PCBs) and electromechanical products. The junior/mid-level will work as part of a team.
What you will be doing Lead and perform schematic capture, review PCB layout, system integration, and board bring up validation
Lead and perform hands‑on, schematic capture/layout
FPGA integration (not programming)
Interfacing closely with the firmware engineering team
Ensure design for manufacturability and testability (DFM/DFT)
Develop and validate electronic interfaces with mechanical systems and embedded software.
What you must have
B.S. degree in electrical engineering or related background. MS preferred.
10+ years in electronic engineering roles (for senior), 2+ years for the junior/mid-level position.
Proven expertise in circuit design, PCB schematic capture/layout (a must), embedded systems, and system-level evaluation.
Solid knowledge of power electronics, Linear power supply design, switching supply simulation and design.
Experience with controlled impedance for high-speed designs, stack‑up specification (multi‑layer boards), for designs up to 10GHz.
Strong design experience with ARM processors, and their peripherals, such as I2C, MIPI, USB, Ethernet.
Experience designing PCBs with FPGA SoC (Xilinx preferred-but not programming FPGAs), DDR3 and later, eMMC Flash. A thorough understanding of design workflow.
Firmware/software integration and compliance testing. Proficiency with design tools such as Altium 365.
Work Environment The onsite office is very relaxed, shorts/flip flops, with culture fit being a huge factor in hiring. People assimilate and work well together.
Salary/Rate Range $120K – $145K (plus 10% annual bonus)
