Position Summary We are currently hiring a Breast Imaging Tracking Specialist who will be responsible for tracking all breast imaging reports/results and log reported recommendations. The BI Tracking Specialist ensures confidentiality, security and integrity of data and information in accordance NYS privacy laws and UHP's policy and procedure.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma required.
Previous experience working in a community-based health center or similar setting ideally with breast imaging and/or mammo.
Bilingual Spanish/English required.
1-2 years of related administrative experience required.
Proficiency with computers and software.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Key Duties
Add mammo/sono patients to all the radiology templates: screening, diagnostic, breast ultrasound.
Generates and mail PENRAD letters.
Participates in orientation, training and quality initiatives as determined by organizational and departmental requirements.
Assists PSRs in scheduling follow up breast imaging appointments.
Prepares packages for biopsy in outside facilities and obtains pathology reports.
Tracks all breast imaging reports/results and log reported recommendations for follow up, biopsy, etc.
Compensation $19.50 per hour ($40,560/annum)
