Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Our teams collaborate across the global to build and deploy solutions that enhance our customer experience, improve the lives of our associates, and build value for our business.- Leads and participates in medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements, translating requirements into technical solutions, gathering requested information, writing and developing code, conducting unit testing. Communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders.- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Identifying business needs, determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices. Monitoring progress and results and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.- Analyze competing requirements and articulate tradeoffs and lead discussions with business and development team, leading white board sessions with team.- Previous experience with Java, SpringBoot, Cloud (Azure/GCP/AWS ), Kafka (or other messaging service), Memcached/Redis or any caching technologies, relational DBMS ( MySQL, Oracle etc )- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership for development and design of least one cloud-based project - Experience in building extensible platforms, data pipelines is desirable.Fifty years ago, Sam Walton started a single mom-and-pop shop and transformed it into the world's biggest retailer.
