Apply highly developed knowledge and skills in project management, program and budget planning, and methodologies to manage Engineering and Global initiatives with increased complexity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, implement, and maintain world-class processes to manage, provide visibility, leverage and make decisions on Divisional capital strategy, including capital budget allocation and planning, long range planning and capital asset management /optimization to improve financial and business performance

Establishes and performs a robust, regular investment planning process inclusive of headcount, in-line with strategic plans including cashflow planning and budget management to meet business objectives

Capital Planning – Work with the factories, functional groups and Business units to develop the capital plan with proper justification. Ensuring the projects match the business plan, with well-defined cost and scope to add the project to the plan

Capital Management – Manage the division annual capital budgets including the pool to ensure that we optimize the use of capital funding. Capital budget for Non-Service Equipment and overall, annually total.

Facilities Management – Includes Divisional headquarters site management. Works with the various organizations, manufacturing sites, and functions across the division for facilities approach (new leases, facility build out and expansions, facility selection, etc)

Identifies opportunities for engineering productivity initiatives and margin improvements in a manner that systematically improves operational execution and delivers value before further capital is invested. Supports development of business cases in support of improvement and GMI opportunities

Defines (in close collaboration with functional areas and Business units) standards and governance including maturity assessments, benchmarking exercises and identifies opportunities to leverage synergies and ‘best practice’ sharing to maximize value

Establishes and maintains Divisional Engineering productivity, quality metrics, and measurement standards (KPIs) to ensure optimum efficiency and quality, and develops a reporting process across the regions to utilize the metrics which drive operational improvements and delivery of business priorities

Creates cohesive, cross-functional teams that are willing and capable of taking the organization to the next levels. Fosters a culture of customer-centeredness and continuous operational improvement

Leads, inspires and develops a talented team that supports the strategic and future needs of the business and drives for efficiencies and improves effectiveness

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelors Degree Engineering or equivalent business discipline

Minimum 12 years

Relevant work experience required with focus in Manufacturing / Operational excellence and Engineering project and budget management

High performing and highly result driven, who strives consistently for continuous improvement and is motivated by a high sense of personal performance expectations

Substantial Experience in project / technical leadership, coaching and change management

Experience in production /manufacturing

Strong ability to network and collaborate across various functions

The base pay for this position is $149,300.00 – $298,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
