Responsibilities
Manage month-end and year-end closes, prepare financial statements, perform reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis. Oversee accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and forecasting while mentoring junior staff. Assist with audits, tax preparations, internal controls, and special projects like forensic reviews relevant to legal operations. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred; 5+ years in senior accounting, ideally in a law firm or professional services. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Clio), and Excel; experience with legal billing a plus. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced firm setting.
