Java Lead Engineer
to design, develop, and deploy enterprise‑scale backend services and APIs in a cloud environment. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands‑on coding, and collaboration with geographically dispersed teams in a Scrum setting.
Top Skills & Requirements Education:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years experience
OR Master’s degree with 8+ years experience
Technical Skills:
Java 17+, strong backend development (70% backend)
Spring Boot RESTful APIs
AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, SNS, SQS
CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins
Relational & NoSQL databases
Architecture experience (preferred)
AI experience is a plus
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration
Ability to work under pressure
Minimum 3 years leading geographically dispersed teams
Team‑oriented, mentoring experience
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop backend services and APIs
Deploy and maintain applications in AWS
