Overview:
As the Human Resources Consulting Manager at UBB, this dynamic leader will drive business growth while delivering exceptional HR expertise to community banking clients, combining strategic sales leadership with comprehensive human resources consulting. You’ll direct USource’s suite of services, from conducting presentations and managing lead generation to leading a team of HR consultants who provide expert guidance on employment law, employee relations, and compliance matters. Candidate should be located in Twin‑Cities metro area but has the opportunity to work remote. If remote, occasional travel to UBB’s Richfield office or elsewhere for training, meetings, conducting forums and client visits is expected.

Pay Range:
$110,000.00 - $135,000.00 Salary; depending on education, qualifications, experience.
Annual bonus target:
10% of annual pay dependent on company and personal performance.

Responsibilities
Conduct phone calls and presentations to prospective customers via referrals from UBB sales staff and manage the calling efforts of staff.
Follow up on leads provided by the Marketing Department and independently promote the USource service.
Attend various human resource-related and/or community banking meetings, seminars, or events to discuss the USource product, and maintain customer relations while representing UBB’s standards of excellence.
Conduct periodic maintenance calls to existing customers.
Provide support to community bank customers through interpretation of state, federal, and local labor and employment laws, trends, and requirements.
Lead a team of human resource consultants to include scheduling, monitoring the quality of job performance, coaching, training, and development.
Manage the expense and income activities of the department to ensure that budgetary financial goals are met.
Develop and present forums and webinars for customers on a variety of human resource-related topics.
Compose a quarterly customer newsletter email with input and assistance from the USource Team.
Respond to complex customer hotline calls and emails.
Create and revise customer employee handbooks.
Communicate with legal counsel for review of handbook policies and employment law interpretation.
Monitor and create updates of the USource online human resource library.
Assist customers with recruitment needs, including administering pre‑employment assessments and assisting with job descriptions.
Manage the Salary and Cash Compensation survey relationship and process.
Create, clarify, and update USource procedures with the USource team.
Manage vendor relationships.
Remain up to date with trends and labor and employment law developments in human resources and the community banking industry.
Maintain current product knowledge and implement changes to USource consulting services.
Stay abreast of products, pricing, and sales initiatives of key competitors.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
10+ years of direct human resource management experience encompassing the responsibilities of performing and managing all components in the field of human resources.
5+ years supervisory experience.
Demonstrated ability to market and present a service.
Comprehensive background in state and federal labor and employment law interpretation.
HR certification required (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
Ability to travel 10–20%.
Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Ability to relate to a diverse group of customers at all levels of a community bank.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
