Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Level 1 or Level 2 Program Cost, Schedule, and Control Analyst to support the Poland WISŁA & NAREW Program within our Business Management organization on‑site in Huntsville, Alabama.

The Analyst will interact with operating unit, business area, and division staff to solve reporting program issues and meet reporting requirements. They will interface with program managers, functional management, CAMs, and business managers to provide financial support and analysis.

Responsibilities

Set up the cost control system and monitor and control costs on contracts requiring Earned Value Management (EVMS).

Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines.

Prepare budgets for contract work and perform financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.

Prepare program plans to ensure requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.

Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, preparing expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.

Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic cost and schedule baselines.

Guide CAMs with EVMS activities, including time‑phasing of budgets, forecast, earning value methodology, performance measurement, estimate to complete analysis, updates, variance analysis research, and EVM trip wire review & analysis.

Build partnerships with program personnel to support program execution while maintaining compliant EVMS implementation in accordance with the EVMS System Description.

Basic Qualifications – Level 1

High school diploma or GED with minimum 4 years of business, finance, and/or program control experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.

Strong computer skills with high‑level Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, conditional formatting).

Must be able to work on‑site at Huntsville, AL.

Must be able to travel as required (up to 10% of the time).

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Active U.S. DoD Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications – Level 2

High school diploma or GED with minimum 6 years of experience.

OR Bachelor’s degree with minimum 2 years of experience.

OR Master’s degree in a related discipline.

Strong computer skills with high‑level Excel skills.

Must be able to work on‑site at Huntsville, AL.

Must be able to travel as required (up to 10% of the time).

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Earned Value Management and/or EVMS Software.

Defense Industry experience.

Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze data and figures.

Experience with Deltek Cobra and/or SAP (or similar business systems).

Prior program cost control experience.

Active DoD Secret clearance.

Salary Primary level: $60,200.00 – $90,200.00

Secondary level: $72,400.00 – $108,600.00

Salary range represents a general guideline; final offers consider scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
