Plant Loader Operator
Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Loader Operator to join our South Shore Asphalt team.
Job Overview As a Plant Loader Operator, you will operate front‑end loaders, ManLift, and forklifts to move, stockpile, and load materials in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment. The role requires a strong physical condition, good mechanical aptitude, and compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Move and stockpile materials within the plant and site.
Fuel, lubricate, and maintain loaders and other equipment.
Clean and inspect loaders before and after operation.
Load trucks and fill hoppers for asphalt production.
Operate equipment in extreme weather conditions.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year experience working outdoors in road or construction fields.
Proven experience operating a front‑end loader, ManLift, and forklift.
Computer knowledge, strong mathematical skills, and ability to analyze data.
Demonstrated reliability and adherence to safety protocols.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions (cold, heat, humidity).
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and pull or push up to 70 lbs.
Good physical fitness is required.
