Job Overview The Automated Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by retrieving and stacking specific products and quantities as specified on pick tickets or computer screens. This includes building stable pallets and operating within the warehouse pick area safely, accurately, and efficiently while meeting safety, accuracy, and efficiency expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist and facilitate in case picking and sorting within an automated environment using computers, software, and complex machines while adhering to all safety procedures and policies, multitasking, and making sound decisions in a noisy, time‑sensitive environment.

Collaborate within a team to coordinate and organize efficient warehouse processes.

Adapt to needs of the role and maintain knowledge of working in different areas throughout the day, meeting minimum expectations in areas such as HQS, Semi‑Automated Lanes, Pallet Pick, and Flow Rack.

Assist in daily housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse, including keeping the work area free of trash or debris and cleaning spills while following waste removal and recycling protocols.

Work safely, accurately, and efficiently to control inventory and keep shrink at an acceptable level.

Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse in a dynamic environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to work in a fast‑paced atmosphere while walking and repetitively lifting up to 30 lb.

Ability to lift up to 75 lb.

Ability to collaborate within a team environment.

Ability to coordinate and organize efficient processes.

Ability to adapt to different work areas and meet minimum expectations.

Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen.

Attention to detail and ability to differentiate packages.

Ability to work in a noisy, non‑temperature‑controlled environment.

Intentional self‑starter who takes initiative and proactively seeks value‑add opportunities.

Flexibility – schedules and hours may change with business demands.

Use of screens, monitors, and devices to pick accurately and within a given sequence.

Minimum Qualifications Knowledge acquired through 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED.

Work Environment Noisy and non‑temperature‑controlled environment.
