Prices Creameries in El Paso is hiring Class A CDL drivers, you will safely operate a tractor trailer, delivering refrigerated dairy products. Duty will be resupply tractor trailer driver to El Paso to Albuquerque daily
Responsibilities
Operate a tractor-trailer and transport products from location to location (plant, branch). May drop deliver to large accounts; non-driver controlled order; deliver on a tractor trailer.
Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations and policies adhering to all safety practices
Verify shipment accuracy and ensure saleable condition of product
Report delivery delays to management due to road conditions, accidents or breakdowns. Report any moving violations to management immediately
Inspect equipment according to company and DOT regulations (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, load bars, lift gates)
Complete all daily DOT and customer paperwork including delivery tickets, pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, and vehicle service reports
Ensure and/or perform proper maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment used (tires, fuel, oil check, etc.) and maintain a clean vehicle
Attend all driver workshops and training sessions
Use company supported applications or systems properly
Represent DFA positively and professionally at all times during interactions with customers or other individuals

Qualifications and Requirements
Class A CDL required
Perform Pre-Post Trip inspections
Maintain accurate logs
Schedule 4 to 5 days per week (subject to change)
Run days Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday (subject to change)
Start time 12:00 noon Finish time when run is complete (subject to change)
Willing to work overtime or varied start times as needed.
Work safely
Drop and hook no moving product
Home daily
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 or more years of experience driving a tractor trailer, within the last 5 years preferred
Must meet minimum age requirements
Must meet DFA requirements for Motor Vehicle Records
Must meet all DOT requirements
Certification and/or License - valid Class A CDL with Air Brake endorsement; some drivers may be required to have a doubles endorsement; license or operator's permit for at least the three years immediately prior to application
