Location: New London County, CT
Salary: $38.00-$40.00 per hour
Overview Under the direction of the Security Supervisor, the incumbent mans the command center or podium as assigned to dispatch security personnel, receive incoming calls and maintain required logbooks. The position requires routine sitting and frequent standing, fine motor hand/wrist movements, accurate hearing and close vision.
Responsibilities
Mans command center or podium, dispatch security personnel to incidents.
Receive incoming calls and maintain required logbooks.
Collaborate with the Security Supervisor and other departments to address emerging threats.
Remain available to respond to emergency situations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Prior casino, dispatch or camera systems experience highly desired.
Possess customer service attitude, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Basic typing and keyboard skills.
Ability to function as assigned in emergency situations.
