Shift: 2nd Shift (1:45 PM to 10:15 PM)

Responsibilities
Operate and monitor forming equipment to process materials used in the production of aircraft transparencies, ensuring adherence to established procedures and safety protocols.
Execute the forming processes to shape materials into specified configurations, ensuring all dimensions and tolerances are met.
Oversee the completion of production runs, ensuring all transparencies are produced to the required specifications and quality standards.
Conduct thorough inspections of finished products using appropriate measuring instruments and visual assessments to ensure compliance with military quality standards and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of production processes, material usage, and inspection results to ensure traceability and compliance with military regulations.
Work closely with team members, including supervisors and quality control personnel, to meet production goals and address any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe working environment.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues with processes or equipment, making necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and product quality.
Education and Experience
High school diploma/GED
Technical training in manufacturing processes or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience as a forming operator or in a similar role
Aerospace or military industry experience is a plus
Skills and Knowledge
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise specifications.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
Proficient in operating forming equipment and understanding material properties is expected.
Physical ability to complete job duties, which may include standing for long periods or lifting objects with an established maximum weight.
Ability to follow directions accurately.
Attention to detail and organization skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Overtime Available.
Must be able to pass a criminal background and drug test.
