Requirements

At least one year experience working with elderly population in acute, long-term care, or community-based setting, required

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.

Compassionate and caring demeanor

Ability to build rapport with residents/families

Ability to have one-on-one conversations, routine visits with residents, and facilitating difficult conversations with families

Demonstrate progressive leadership and initiative

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Required to sit, stand, bend and walk regularly; lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
