Position Specific Description
Our Business Services Department is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join their team in Jupiter, FL. The selected candidate for this role is expected to have experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or related areas.
This role will:
Develop annual area budget requests.
Identify emerging or contingency items that may require additional funding throughout the year.
Prepare detailed variance reports and contribute to long range planning objectives.
Generate financial forecasts and perform budget analysis.
Provide comprehensive financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
Track and analyze financial activities to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Communicate financial positions clearly and effectively to leadership.
Formulate recommendations and corrective actions to ensure financial targets are achieved.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and peers.
Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. This is a full-time, in-office position (5 days per week).

Job Overview Job Duties & Responsibilities
Identifies, analyzes, and communicates to management the impact on the Company's financial structure, profitability, and competitive position utilizing relevant analytical methods and/or department forecasting models
Provides financial analysis support for various projects, calculating revenue requirements, net present value, customer bill impact, etc.
Provides expertise, support, and financial training for the company departments requiring these services
Performs financial analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies
Makes recommendations on financing decisions and executes long and/or short term financings
Prepares PowerPoint presentations to be provided to Senior and Executive Management
Acts as a mentor to lower level employees
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Grad / GED
Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
Experience: 4+ years
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s - Accounting / Finance
Master’s - Accounting / Finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
