Location: Fort Mill, SC, 29708.
Shift: Days Monday - Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm.
Rate of Pay: $21.
Employee will be driving a forklift but will also perform other tasks such as straightening blocks, checking tickets, etc. Responsibilities include pulling, staging, and grouping doors based on daily schedule markings, grouping identical doors to minimize change‑over set‑ups on the lines while maintaining order integrity and sorting based on width, saw thickness, length, bevel.
Responsibilities
Unloads pallets and returned doors into quality hold area.
Cross‑train & work in the designated area or in other production areas as needed.
Able to pull individual doors instead of pulling stacks of 15/30.
Operates forklift, power pallet jack or manual carts or pallet jacks to unload, move or store materials.
Follows work instructions and pays attention to details.
Follows safety and PPE procedures and reports violations to supervisor, leads, and/or to safety.
Achieves/performs daily targets and output of production.
Meets quality standards for the chassis pull.
Follows work practices that are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.
Follows all Environmental Health and Safety rules and ISO requirements.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with 5S requirements, rules, and regulations.
Must be able to work required overtime as needed.
Work with members of leadership and quality to solve issues.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Performs other tasks and works in other areas as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Read interpret tickets.
Ability to lift 50 lbs, bending, twisting, while carrying product, stooping, pushing, repetitive hand/arm motions, and long periods of standing and walking.
Able to get on and off a forklift multiple times a day.
Qualifications
One year of forklift experience with prior certification.
Ability to pay attention to detail.
Able to be self‑directed / self‑motivated with little supervision.
Good organizational skills and able to pay attention to detail.
