Clinical Support Staff (Residential Setting) – Overnight
Location: Watertown, NY
Schedule Shifts can range from 11pm-8am. Saturday and Sunday availability preferred.
Summary We are seeking Clinical Support Staff to join our team and contribute to a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders in a residential (home‑like) setting. In this role, you will oversee daily activities, supervise meal preparation and household responsibilities, and facilitate the development of independent living skills. Additionally, you will conduct routine wellness checks, uphold confidentiality and professional boundaries, and provide guidance, support, and encouragement to clients as they progress in recovery.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily activities for residents.
Supervise meal preparation and household responsibilities.
Facilitate the development of independent living skills.
Conduct routine wellness checks.
Uphold confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Provide guidance, support, and encouragement to clients.
Assist with medication oversight.
Coordinate transportation for clients to scheduled appointments.
Respond to medical or crisis situations.
Ensure compliance with all program policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Experience in substance abuse, mental health, physical education, or recreation preferred.
Compassionate and dedicated professional with strong communication skills.
Commitment to supporting individuals on their path to recovery.
Requirements
Must maintain a valid Driver's License.
Must comply with all laws and policies concerning confidentiality, security, client rights, 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA.
Must maintain current certification and/or training in CPR and First Aid, and any other areas specified by state law and agency regulation.
Compensation $17.00 per hour.
