Base Pay $20.00/hr – $25.00/hr
Job Purpose Assist the Community Manager or Supervisor in completing tasks that ensure the community meets appearance, operational, and safety standards as set forth by BRG Apartments and applicable laws.
Responsibilities
Repair, replace, or install plumbing fixtures such as faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, refrigerators, and washing machines.
Repair, replace, or install electrical components including power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, fans, climate control systems, and garage door openers.
Perform drywall repair and minor touch‑ups between tenant moves.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (EPA certification required).
Apply minor paint touch‑ups after repair work.
Repair or replace household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, washers, dryers, and air conditioners.
Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler systems, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers.
Perform seasonal maintenance for swimming pools (opening, daily maintenance, and closing).
Maintain health and safety systems such as sprinklers and smoke detectors.
Install locks.
Respond quickly and professionally to resident service requests.
Participate in the on‑call rotation.
Meet a minimum of 2 years of prior maintenance experience.
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of maintenance experience.
Experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
EPA certification for HVAC.
Driver’s License (Required).
Auto Insurance (Required).
Ability to work an 8‑hour day shift on Monday to Friday and participate in on‑call rotation.
