Position Summary
Provides the bar area with supplies and provides the bartender with items on request. Assuring that guests have a favorable experience.
Responsibilities
Responsible to stock bar items daily.
Responsible to fill ice bins as needed.
Responsible to assume duties of bartender and beverage server during breaks.
Empty garbage and mop floors.
Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests.
Always maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude. Have complete knowledge of all events and promotional activities.
Other duties as assigned.
Miscellaneous
Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions.
Knowledge of all bar equipment, regulations and gaming laws.
Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
Knowledge of CO2 gauges.
Ability to do assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Six months of experience in beverage field.
Able to obtain a state gaming license and Alcohol Beverage Control card.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Walking/Standing 55%
Bending/Lifting 40% (up to 75 lbs.)
Casino exposed to temperatures that may vary, noise and bright lights.
High rise hotel
