What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and site management.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Guard card or license preferred.
Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state and local laws.
Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Licensing requirements subject to state or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
