Incoming Material Sampler

Main Responsibilities:
Daily sampling of incoming raw and packaging materials for sample analysis
Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Taste test (organoleptic) raw materials, semi-finished and finished products as requested
General analysis of incoming material inspection and recording of results
Inspect all delivered raw & packaging materials for defects and damage as required in the Ferrero Quality requirement and escalate all issues to supervisor
Inspect and sample any damaged raw and packaging materials as requested by production, warehouse, and other departments as part of risk assessments of non‑conforming materials
Deliver samples to the Incoming, Microbiological, Chemical, and Packaging Labs as required
Provide correct and accurate quality reports
All other duties as assigned by Lab Supervisor or Lab Manager
About You:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate’s degree in chemistry, biology, or other scientific field preferred
1‑3 years of relevant work experience in a food manufacturing environment
Experience conducting tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing/distribution of goods
Navigate: Calendar, Email, Invites, Video conferencing on Microsoft Office from a computer
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to walk and climb stairs extensively throughout the facility, including indoor and outdoor work areas
Ability to climb ladders on rail cars, and other equipment as required for daily job duties
Comfortable working at heights when accessing elevated platforms, rail cars, tanker trucks or similar structures
Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during the workday
Must be able to perform these tasks safely and effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation

Compensation Data The base salary range for this position is $53,831 - $71,775 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
