12-22 hours per week guaranteed; Friday 8a-5p/6p, Saturday 8a-12/2p, Sundays (optional) 8a-12/2p

A very sweet family in Pac Heights is seeking a loving weekend nanny to care for their newborn daughter (currently 4 months old) as well as provide light support for their 7‑year‑old son. Responsibilities include engaging with baby and working on developmental milestones, picking up their son from school, child laundry, preparing bottles, meal prep and light cooking for the children, tidying and organization, and occasional errands.
Their ideal candidate is positive and upbeat, genuinely loves working with children and feels childcare is the candidate’s calling. They prefer someone with a reliable vehicle for driving to child‑friendly activities (they have parking available onsite and will reimburse mileage) and who is already familiar with San Francisco, ideally having previously nannied in the city.
Schedule
(depending on nanny’s preference, guaranteed 12‑22 hours per week):
Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 or 6 p.m. (9‑10 hours)
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 12 or 2 p.m. (4‑6 hours)
Sunday (optional): 8 a.m. to 12 or 2 p.m. (0‑6 hours)
Experience Requirements
2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English
Qualifications
COVID‑vaccinated and ideally boosted
TB and Tdap vaccine
CPR Certified
Valid driver with clean record, reliable vehicle for work‑related driving with mileage reimbursement; family has parking available onsite and will reimburse mileage
Career nanny – childcare is your calling!
Positive, upbeat attitude
Must already be familiar with San Francisco; ideally previous experience nannying in SF
Excellent communication
Seeking a long‑term commitment; at least a year ideally longer
Responsibilities
Care for both children
Pick up their son from school on Friday (which is in walking distance)
Partner with parents on childcare over the weekend
Child laundry
Preparing/washing bottles
Preparing solids, meals, etc. for the kids
Light errands, putting groceries away, etc.
Light housekeeping – tidying children’s rooms and straightening up common areas
