Your Mission: Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) will screen and source candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. In addition, the (TAS) will nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. The Talent Acquisition team focuses on providing all new hires across Sun Health with a smooth, consistent, and efficient onboarding experience. The (TAS) facilitates a smooth and seamless onboarding process for all newly hired team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Review applicants for open positions across the organization. Streamline and screen top candidates to present to hiring managers for final review. As appropriate, make hiring decisions for departments with large hiring needs.

Support the Talent Acquisition Manager in identifying staffing needs across the organization. Focus on positions that are hard to fill based on time to find qualified candidates or due to a large need of qualified candidates.

Support hiring managers and HR leaders as needed to determine selection criteria, including use of screening tools.

Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks such as LinkedIn).

Ensure website and portal are up to date with current openings and recruitment information.

Build an overview of Sun Health's compensation and benefits programs that will appeal to recruits.

Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Support training and administration of the ATS.

Ensure job descriptions are current and interview guides are legal, reviewing periodically for updates.

Organize and attend recruitment events. Ensure recruiting materials are appropriate for target market.

Foster long‑term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.

Provide a "red‑carpet" recruitment experience to all candidates.

Make job offers to applicants who pass screening and interview processes and are approved by management by providing them with an offer letter and discussing the benefits, requirements and details of the position.

Prepare and send offer letters and initiate new hire onboarding process.

Order pre‑employment screenings including background checks and drug tests.

Works with candidates serving as primary guide to get connected to appropriate resources for background checks, new hire paperwork and on‑boarding, ensuring customer service, compliance as well as completion in a timely manner.

Maintain candidate and hiring leader correspondence and follow‑up on pending information such as offer acceptance, completion of online on‑boarding information.

Consistently monitors pre‑employment screening process and escalates issues when required and work with appropriate parties to resolve.

Review requisitions and candidate profiles for accuracy prior to onboarding of new hires to ensure data integrity.

Ensure background checks, drug tests, license verification and other pre‑employment activities are completed and documented prior to start date.

Conduct candidate employment verifications and references.

Coordination of Day One activities including start time & work attire

Communicate with Hiring Managers regarding changes in a candidate's status and / or start date.

Demonstrate Sun Health Mission and Values.

Your Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in HR, Psychology, Social Science, or related field preferred.

Minimum 1 year experience in HR and recruiting, or a comparable combination of experience and education preferred.

Experience in recruiting and onboarding, healthcare experience preferred.

Possess current or has the ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
