Master Robotics Instructor (Senior) — Position Summary The

Master Robotics Instructor

serves as the senior-level lead for FPV/Attack Drone and Ground Organic Precision Strike training in support of

MARSOC SR Teams . This role owns curriculum quality, leads instruction across classroom/simulator/field environments, ensures safety and compliance, and advises leadership on capability integration and training modernization.

Minimum Qualifications

SOF / Recon Background (Required)

Graduate of a U.S. Assessment & Selection and Operator Qualification course ,

or

Demonstrated

Subject Matter Expert (SME)

experience as an operator within one of the following communities:

MARSOC

U.S. Army Special Forces (SF)

Naval Special Warfare (WARCOM)

Marine Corps Reconnaissance

Instructional Experience (Required)

Minimum 2 years of recent experience

instructing a

USSOCOM-approved :

Attack Drone / FPV Course , or

Ground Organic Precision Strike

Program of Instruction (POI)

Certifications & Licenses (Required)

Ability to

gain and maintain :

Camp Lejeune Range Safety Officer (RSO)

certification

Camp Lejeune Laser Safety Officer (LSO)

certification

Valid and current Class 2 FAA Medical/Physical

Valid and current FAA Part 107 certification

(Remote Pilot)

Valid U.S. Driver’s License

Active Secret clearance required

(or ability to obtain and maintain a

Secret

clearance)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Senior Program & Curriculum Leadership

Develop, refine, standardize, and deliver

comprehensive Programs of Instruction (POI) focused on:

Attack Drones / FPV

employment, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)

Ground Organic Precision Strike Weapon Systems (GOPPS)

employment and integration

Lead continuous improvement of training design, evaluation methods, and instructional quality across the program.

Instruction & Training Execution

Instruct

individual and collective training

for

MARSOC SR Teams

in

classroom, simulator, and field

environments.

Serve as the senior instructor responsible for maintaining training rigor, consistency, and operational relevance.

Practical Exercise & Scenario Design

Design and execute

practical exercise scenarios that replicate realistic operational environments, including:

Planning and coordination

Rehearsals

Scenario control and evaluation

After-action reviews (AARs)

and lessons learned integration

Capability Integration & Advisory Support

Integrate FPV and GOPPS capabilities

into broader unit TTPs, mission planning, and rehearsals.

Provide senior-level advisory support to leadership on employment concepts, training gaps, and modernization priorities.

Safety, Compliance, and Risk Management

Ensure all training complies with applicable

safety regulations, range control procedures, and USMC/USSOCOM guidance .

Maintain and enforce safety standards, including required

RSO/LSO

certification currency when assigned.

Currency with Emerging Technology and Threats

Maintain currency and proficiency with evolving

FPV and precision strike technologies , platforms, countermeasures, and threat trends.

Recommend POI updates based on operational feedback, emerging tactics, and technology changes.

Stakeholder Coordination & Training Management

Coordinate with unit leadership, range control, and stakeholders to

schedule, deconflict, and execute

training events.

Support development and updating of training materials and governance products, including:

Lesson plans

SOPs

Risk assessments

Supporting documentation for POI updates
