The Head Tennis Instructor position earns competitive pay of $19.96/hr.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HEAD TENNIS INSTRUCTOR As a Head Tennis Instructor, you will perform and coordinate tennis tournaments and events with the Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department and preform any other duties effectively and assign Assistant Tennis Instructors to perform requirements of the position. Your work involves overseeing and maintaining assigned facility, and park dealing with the general public, maintaining safety of members, public and staff, maintaining a high profile in the community, and supervising participants in recreation and education activities. You are constantly on your toes and ready for any new and unexpected challenges that may arise in the city. The city needs someone like you with skills in operations of youth programming, recreational activities, and you finding genuine enjoyment in what you do!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HEAD TENNIS INSTRUCTOR

Required Education: High school diploma, GED or equivalency

Required Work Experience: Two years' (2) experience in the area of tennis.

Experience Preference: Preferred some professional work experience in the Parks & Recreation Field or equivalent.

Must have a current valid class "C" driver's license from the Texas Department of Public Safety with a satisfactory driving record.

Obtain a CPR/First Aide Certification.

Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred.
