Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is working with a well‑known government organization in Tallahassee that is searching for a Quality Assurance Analyst with Oracle experience.

Responsibilities

Execute test cases, log defects, and verify remediation.

Prepare test execution reports and defect logs.

Validate data integrity and system functionality post‑remediation.

Configure and manage QA methodologies and test automation tools components.

Support defect resolution and retesting activities.

Participate in integration efforts with systems.

Conduct data validation and reconciliation testing to move data between internal systems (e.g., databases, applications, data warehouses) and external systems (e.g., third‑party APIs, partner platforms, cloud services).

Ensuring data is accurately extracted from source systems, transformed to meet business and technical specifications, and loaded into appropriate target environments.

Collaborating with stakeholders to define data mapping, transformation rules, and validation requirements.

Implementing data quality checks and error handling mechanisms to ensure integrity and reliability of data flows.

Supporting scheduled and on‑demand ETL processes as required by business operations or project timelines.

Provide knowledge transfer sessions on QA processes and tools.

Create and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Attend and participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates.

Submit weekly project reports and time sheets.

Develop and execute test plans and scripts for system integrations.

Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for integration systems.

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration processes to support application functionality and reporting requirements.

Document defects, track remediation, and validate fixes.

Utilize QA methodologies and test automation tools for application deployment, security, and integration.

Ensure testing aligns with accounting and compliance standards.

Ensure applications meet data security and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance standards.

Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.

Ensure application performance, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.

QA‑related certifications (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester, Certified Software Quality Analyst) preferred.

8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including test planning, execution, and defect management.

Strong proficiency in QA methodologies, functional and regression testing, and test automation frameworks.

Experience with performance testing, troubleshooting, and validating application stability across environments.

Familiarity with enterprise systems integration and data validation processes.

Knowledge of compliance standards such as PCI and best practices for secure application development.

Hands‑on experience with QA tools and components (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Oracle WebLogic Server).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting test cases, reporting results, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Experience designing and maintaining automated test suites for complex applications.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.

Knowledge of application and data security best practices in QA processes.

Experience working in government or public sector environments with regulatory compliance requirements.

Exposure to RESTful services testing and API validation.

Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and continuous process improvement.
