Required Skills and Qualifications
A strong understanding of all
SEO best practices , including SEO‑friendly site architecture, tags, coding standards, site speed optimization, and link building strategies.
Experience implementing
AI‑based SEO strategies , such as keyword clustering, content optimization, and search intent analysis using machine learning or NLP tools.
Strong knowledge of how AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) can enhance SEO workflows, from content ideation to on‑page optimization and technical audits.
Familiarity with AI‑driven analytics and tools used to scale SEO performance.
Hands‑on experience with SEO crawling and auditing tools like
Screaming Frog
to identify technical SEO issues.
Proficiency in rank tracking and competitive analysis tools such as
Semrush, Ahrefs, or WebCEO
to monitor keyword performance and identify growth opportunities.
Proficiency in
HTML/CSS .
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Basic knowledge of web copywriting and web design principles as they relate to SEO functionality.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of new technologies and a desire for continuous learning.
Knowledge of JavaScript & PHP (preferred).
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST.
Ability to adapt within a diverse, multicultural environment.

SEO Analyst Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct deep SEO research and R&D to stay ahead of algorithm updates, AI search trends, and emerging technologies in the SEO landscape.
Perform comprehensive
SEO audits
for client websites, identifying issues, and implementing effective data‑driven solutions.
Utilize AI‑powered tools and advanced analytics to discover keyword opportunities, optimize content strategies, and strengthen topical authority.
Conduct thorough keyword research and prioritization based on evolving search intent, competition, and SERP behavior.
Create and optimize 301 redirects, HTML/XML sitemaps, title tags, meta descriptions, and structured data for enhanced indexing.
Collaborate on technical SEO innovations, including entity‑based SEO, schema optimization, and internal linking improvements.
Monitor and enhance site performance through upgrades in website code, server optimization, and site speed improvements.
Experiment with new AI‑based methodologies, SEO automation workflows, and predictive ranking analysis as part of ongoing R&D.
Develop and implement
local SEO strategies
to improve the online visibility of clients’ websites in local search results.
Use heatmap analysis tools, session recordings, surveys, and user testing to understand pain points and optimize user behavior and conversion rate.
Upon successful completion of the initial training period, the analyst will be expected to perform technical SEO analysis to uncover errors, and provide and implement appropriate solutions.

For candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the starting base pay for this position ranges between $15 – $35 per hour. Compensation is variable based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and the seniority of the position offered. Compensation outside of these states may fall outside the specified ranges.
