Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) – ATLANTA, GA 30339 Job Overview As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, build retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. Your responsibilities include collaborating with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed. You may also work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details • Starting hourly pay rate: $13.50 – $15.50, depending on skills and experience.

• Eligible for annual pay increases.

• Part‑time position with a variable schedule.

• Average weekly hours: 10 – 14 hours.

• Availability required the week before and after major holidays, including weekends.

Role and Responsibilities You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of a variety of retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The position consists of three major components:

Day‑to‑day engagement:

Using a Hallmark‑provided mobile device, you will restock, organize, and monitor inventory. Technology is critical for day‑to‑day work, communication with supervisors, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required merchandising surveys. Professional interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential. You will manage the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.

Holiday support:

Hallmark’s operations revolve around seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may face additional days and extended hours, sometimes including the holiday itself.

Department resets:

Occasionally, you will join a team for installations, building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting sections. Advance notice (typically two weeks) is provided; assignments may include evenings or weekends.

One Team Vision:

You are part of a network of merchandisers who support each other as needed across territories.

Physical Requirements This physically demanding role requires high energy and urgency. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and displays up to 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You will also kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use step ladders throughout the workday.

Basic Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Physical ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Proficiency with a digital handheld device for reading documents and interpreting information.

Access to Wi‑Fi network and internet.

Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores on schedule.
