Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, assist guests by safely parking and retrieving vehicles in a timely manner, which may require frequent running and/or jogging.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Park and retrieve guests’ vehicles in a safe and secure manner.

Assist guests with opening and closing doors and loading/unloading mobility devices.

Use proper scripting with guests as trained.

Follow department guidelines regarding walk‑run‑jog stipulations.

Complete valet tickets legibly and accurately.

Use the CVPS software as outlined.

Remain in proper uniform and on time at front entrance.

Attend daily pre‑shift meeting to become informed of daily activities and special events, and to receive daily work logs, informational guides, etc. for the current business day.

Adhere to all attendance policies and procedures set forth.

Maintain current knowledge of casino and resort amenities.

Follow the Tip Pool Guidelines.

Assist in maintaining the front entrance appearance, keeping it clean.

Follow all Handbook and interdepartmental policies.

Comply with all Safety and Security Policies and Procedures, including company drug enforcement policies.

Comply with all guidelines of the Motor Vehicle User’s Handbook.

Report accidents involving guests, employees, or company assets immediately.

Secure all guests’ cars, keys, and potential personal belongings.

Report any possible problems or unusual circumstances to the Transportation team.

Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers, offering solutions for concerns and maintaining customer service as the top priority.

Maintain strict confidentiality and present a positive, professional demeanor and image at all times.

The above duties are not all‑inclusive and may change based on organizational needs or supervisor discretion.

Contacts / Purpose of Contacts

Contact with guests when providing valet service.

Contact with associates and management team of the Transportation department to communicate day‑to‑day operations.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Must be able to pass a background check to meet employment eligibility requirements.

License, Certification, Or Special Requirements

Must have a valid State of Michigan Driver’s License with the proper designation for the vehicle utilized; a Tribal Driver’s License also required if a Motor Pool Vehicle is used.

Must be able to drive vehicles with a standard transmission.

Native American preference shall apply to all positions.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Knowledge of vehicle operation and safe practices.

Skill in parking and driving vehicles.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Ability to operate cars of all types.

Ability to serve guests in a professional appearance and manner.

Ability to follow instructions and abide by department policies.

Team‑player attitude toward delivering best guest service.

Maintain a positive, respectful demeanor.

Physical Demands

Frequent use of hands, wrists, and fingers in vehicle operation.

Required to walk/run/jog when parking and retrieving vehicles.

Ability to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch during duties.

Use of arms to reach and lift over shoulders.

Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Physical fitness to walk or run up to 200 yards without difficulty.

Normal hearing and good verbal communication.

Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 40 pounds.

Work Environment

Frequent walking and standing in a smoking environment and contact with the general public.

Ability to work under all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.

Extended hours or irregular shifts may be required.
