The Cypressof Hilton Head’s Plant Department is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team!

We pay attention to details
Pick up and deliver residents to all scheduled activities where transportation is needed.
Make miscellaneous runs for the office to the bank, printer, post office, etc. as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
Perform routine preventive maintenance as directed by the department head.
Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by the department head.
Perform other duties as delegated by the Activity Director.
Opens car doors, parks/retrieves cars as requested.
Makes routine deliveries to apartments when needed.
Attends all in-service training as assigned.
Understands the responsibility to report suspected violations of The Cypress Club Code of Conduct to appropriate persons, or to The Cypress Club Compliance Hotline, or by completing a Written Report of Suspected Compliance Violation, or by contacting the Corporate Compliance Officer directly.
Takes appropriate precautions to avoid job related injuries and complies with injury reporting guidelines.
Actively participates in safety programs and complies with The Cypress Club policies and procedures.
Looks for ways to continuously improve safety for members, staff and visitors.
Embraces The Cypress Hospitality Promises daily.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
Must be able to read, write, perform mathematics and speak efficiently.
Licensure/Certification:
Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of South Carolina and have a good driving record.
Additional Qualifications:
Must be able to work well without supervision. Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with the residents at all times. Ability to relate well to others. Must have good listening skills.
Security Requirements:
The Drivers are not required or allowed to electronically view or access confidential patient information. The Drivers will be allowed to view and share patient information accessible otherwise in regard to patient care.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds independently. Must be able to push residents in wheelchairs as needed. May be exposed to high and low temperatures. Must be able to walk and/or stand for 60% of the workday. Must be able to sit for up to three hours at a time. Must have manual dexterity for keyboarding and completing office procedures. Must be able to hear, see, and speak.
