Purpose
Safely handle, operate and maneuver various trucks and trailers in our yard to reposition as needed. Move trailers to designated dock(s) for loading and unloading as directed by the leadership team. Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand‑up order picker/cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the distribution center.
Key Responsibilities
Operate vehicles in a safe manner, by following all safety rules and demonstrating professional command of the equipment.
Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisor.
Inspect equipment and verify/report damage or concerns.
Maintain basic computer literacy to run and print reports.
Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team.
Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork.
Work overtime as needed.
Flexibly train and work in multiple areas.
Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience operating tractor trailers.
Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit‑down forklift.
Basic maths skills.
Good communication skills.
Essential Functions
Ability to safely operate a yard truck to maneuver trailers around a crowded yard.
Regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up to ten (10) hours/day.
Work safely at heights up to thirty‑five (35) feet.
Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Attend work/scheduled hours reliably.
Safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above.
Occasionally required to sit; bend, twist, climb or balance; lift and carry items up to fifty (50) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma.
At least three (3) months experience operating a yard truck and/or spotting trailers in a fast‑paced environment.
Six (6) months previous experience operating forklifts.
Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
