Hourly Pay Rate $16.50
Job Overview:
Floor Techs may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps facilities or locations in a health care campus orderly. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below; additional responsibilities may be assigned based on client needs.
Daily Responsibilities:
Monitor assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper, and debris.
Clean all corners, edges, and baseboards in the assigned areas.
Dust mop all hard floor areas, clean behind doors, and move movable objects.
Remove all marks and scuffs on the floor.
Wet mop floors with the proper cleaning chemical or use a scrubbing machine.
Project Work:
Utilize floor machines for project work as assigned.
Burnish floors using a high‑speed floor machine as directed.
Scrub and strip floors as needed or assigned.
May perform “Area Cleaner” job duties.
Perform related work as required.
Job Qualifications:
Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
Post‑Offer Medical, Background Screening, and Drug Test required.
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and arms.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally.
Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.
Noise level usually quiet.
