Exempt - Full Time: $55,000 - $58,120.00 based on relevant experiences.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in social work, counseling, or related human services.
At Least 2 years experience in children/family mental health services.
Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents), and proof of continuous auto insurance. Must also meet CCC's Motor Vehicle Record standards policy and have reliable transportation.
The Program The Youth Day Treatment program provides services to youth in grades 3-12 who require a step-down or an alternative to inpatient care or partial hospitalization, or as transitional care following an inpatient or partial hospitalization stay in order to facilitate return to the community or to prevent or minimize the need for more intense or restrictive level of treatment. The Day Treatment Program provides services that are more intensive than outpatient treatment and will serve persons who need a structured, behavioral health setting for daytime activities.
The Job Responsible for providing Interventions based on the client's treatment plan for the purpose of helping the clients remain in the school, community and in the home (prevent psychiatric hospitalizations), and to improve overall functioning.
Essential Functions
Attend to the needs of and provide assistance to clients during activities.
Work with an integrated treatment team, including case managers and the psychiatrist to provide consistent care.
Work alongside school staff to meet the needs of the students/clients.
Maintain records according to clinical policies and procedures in a timely fashion.
Create and maintain a calendar of daily therapeutic activities.
Provide assistance to clients and family with community resources.
Communicate with parents/guardians with the needs, behaviors, etc. of the child.
Supervise and direct supervisees in the performance of their job functions.
Proactively provide feedback and training to supervisees to assist them with meeting performance expectations.
Hold direct supervisees accountable for the satisfactory performance of their job functions, including issuing corrective discipline and make recommendations for termination, when warranted.
Intervene in behavioral health crisis situations, when needed, which may include use of seclusion and/or restrain interventions to prevent self-harm or harm to others.
Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
Based on need, provide seclusion and/or restraint interventions in accordance with Pro-Act guidelines and agency policy and procedure.
Maintain certification in Pro-ACT and CPR/First Aid.
