Cavco Industries, a leading designer and builder of systems-built structures, including manufactured homes and modular homes, is seeking a candidate for our Manager in Training for our Cavco Lancaster location. Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, Cavco Industries is a publicly held company traded over the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol CVCO.

Cavco Duncan is looking for a management trainee to help Cavco develop and implement our growth strategies. This position is best suited for candidates who want to gain valuable experience in a managerial role with advancement potential. The Management Trainee program combines a series of rotations in various departments, with the purpose of preparing the individual for a leadership role in the area that maximizes their strengths and career advancement potential.

During your preparation, you’ll learn how to identify and apply important strategies and business processes. You’ll get to know the nuts and bolts of our company’s functions and operations and you’ll support our management team. To succeed in this role, strong analytical skills and effective communication are important management trainee qualifications you should have.

Responsibilities

Assist managers complete daily tasks

Understand each department’s daily processes and goals

Provide administrative support

Broad knowledge with personnel duties

Participate in company’s strategic planning

Help managers in evaluating performance (e.g. writing reports, analyzing data)

Research and possibly implement ways to increase profitability and lower risk

Create and give presentations

Requirements and Skills

A degree in Management or Business preferred in lieu of manufacturing experience

One (1) or two (2) years’ experience in management or similar/relevant field

Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office

Strong verbal and written presentation skills

Excellent math and computational ability
