Overview: Hilton Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our talented banquet team! Nestled in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, our hotel boasts 826 guest rooms, 24,000+ square feet of event space and our signature restaurant Ten 01 Social.
We are seeking an energetic individual who is career driven, with a positive approach to hospitality. In this role, you will assist in the execution and leadership of our culinary department.
Full‑time position. Candidates will need full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Starting hourly pay range: $27.00‑$28.50
Responsibilities:
Oversee preparation of food in all areas during assigned shift
Prepare fish and meats
Assist and support kitchen team members
Communicate any challenges to Chef/Sous Chef
Assist Chef/Sous Chef in overseeing cleanliness and sanitation
Set up daily specials and happy hour food according to schedule and spaces
Visually inspect food quality and presentation
Prepare staff schedules with guidance of Chef/Sous Chef
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company food handling and food storage procedures
Qualifications:
Thrive in a high‑volume environment with a passion for culinary excellence and incorporating current trends
Have experience in leading and developing a culinary team
Have proven success of consistently executing a high‑quality product in a professional atmosphere
Have a well‑rounded background in various restaurant styles with a keen eye for details and exceptional organizational skills
Have previous hotel banquet experience
