What You’ll Do
Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies to provide customer service at the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail location to help deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or suspicious behavior.
Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or law enforcement as required.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter disruptive behavior and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.
Handcuffing Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
