Your Role as a Pre‑K Assistant Teacher We seek passionate educators to assist the GA Pre‑K Lead Teacher in overseeing classroom activities, adhering to the standards set by the GA Dept of Early Care and Learning, and aligning with the GA Pre‑K Curriculum. In this supportive role you will create a nurturing atmosphere for children and families, forge strong relationships, help plan and implement learning experiences that encourage physical health, social‑emotional growth, cognitive and creative development, observe and assess children's progress, and customize curriculum to meet individual needs.

Requirements You might be the perfect fit if you:

Pass a background check, hold a High School Diploma, and have at least one of: a technical certificate of credit in early childhood education, a specialist degree or PhD, a GA PSC paraprofessional certificate, a master’s degree in any field, a Georgia teacher certificate, a CDA credential, or a bachelor’s/associate degree in any field.

Have empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Exhibit flexibility and adapt to community needs and changing circumstances.

Can meet the physical demands of working with children.
