We are a regional farm supply co‑op with diverse operations including feed production, agronomy services, and retail stores throughout the Intermountain West. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of
Applicator/CDL Driver
at the IFA Agronomy Center in
Roosevelt, Utah .
Responsibilities
Loading and mixing fertilizer and pesticide formulas.
Ability to follow and interpret fertilizer and pesticide labels.
Perform all applications in a timely manner and on schedule.
Maintain application logs and other records as necessary.
Read field maps and use global positioning devices.
Work around and handle hazardous materials properly.
Perform daily inspection of equipment and minor repairs as needed.
Be willing to work extended hours during the busy season, including 12‑14 hour shifts during the springtime rush.
Deliver products to growers when not applicating.
Qualifications High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required. 3 years of applicator experience beneficial but not required. Must have and be able to maintain a current CDL license and drive applicator equipment. Current pesticide license required or ability to obtain if hired. Able to lift 50 lbs. and/or 5‑gallon cans of liquid frequently during shift. Able to calculate discounts, percentages, and liquid/solid measurements using basic math skills. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form. Must be detail‑oriented and self‑motivated.
