SEASONAL POOL TECHNICIANS (Summer 2026 Season) We are now hiring for Seasonal Pool Technicians at our Outdoor Pools during the Summer 2026 Season.
WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Seasonal Pool Tech, you will complete daily preventative maintenance, ensure safety and cleanliness, and maintain pool water chemistry via chemical level testing, dosing, and reporting. In addition, you will also be responsible for identifying, reporting, and communicating potential safety and maintenance concerns. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining the pools, pump rooms, splash pad, and facilities, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, and following and promoting the values of Elmhurst Park District.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
You must be at least 18 years of age with a valid Illinois driver’s license.
Knowledge of pool maintenance and cleaning.
Knowledge of pool chemicals and safe handling practices.
Ability to swim and dive underwater up to 12 ft.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and spend 95% of work time performing physical labor, standing, and/or walking.
WHEN YOU’LL WORK Scheduled days and hours may vary, 30-40 hours per week. Shifts include weekday and weekend mornings, afternoons, and/or evenings. Flexible schedules! We will work with you and your schedule.
WHAT YOU’LL GET
The anticipated starting pay for this position is $18.00/hour.
This position falls under Pay Grade D with a pay range of $15.25 - $25.50.
