Are you ready to make an IMPACT from day one? Nestled just outside the Great Smoky Mountains, around 30 miles North of Knoxville, in a small, quaint, beautiful town, called Andersonville, sits Norris Academy, a residential treatment facility that offers comprehensive, holistic services to youth with autism spectrum disorders, and/or other neurodevelopmental diagnosis.
Compensation & Perks Compensation Range:
$18 per hour. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period.

What you will do A day in the life of a Behavioral Health Technician at Norris Academy is rarely the same, HARD WORK, EXCITING, IMPACTFUL, and very REWARDING. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you are helping to care for and support youth that are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is a 100% onsite position. Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist residents with personal care tasks
Support independent living skills and treatment goals
Ensure residents safety at all times
Enforce facility rules, policies, and routines
To be considered you should
Be at least 21 years of age
Have a High School diploma or equivalent
Be able to pass a background screening, drug test, and physical
Have at least 1 year experience working with autistic youth
Have a passion to work with and help children
Schedule / Hours / Shifts Our 4 days on, 3 days off (opposite the 2nd week) schedule, allows our employees more time to rest, take care of personal affairs, and reduces burnout. Schedule choices are as follows:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Every Other Wednesday 7am-7:30pm
Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Every Other Wednesday 7am-7:30pm
