POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Utility Operator position is designed to be a position where the Operator is trained in all facets of the production process to include, but not be limited to, other position such as line operator (all production lines), machine operator, vats, mix trucks, lines, batch mix, etc. This person would also cover for regular operators while on vacation, days off, for breaks, or whatever need arises. The person must be versatile and have the ability to multi-task, be self‑motivated, require minimal supervision, make good decisions, work well with others and be willing to move from position to position on very short notice. Employees should be in good general physical condition and able to stand for prolonged periods, bend, twist, turn and lift up to a minimum of 40 pounds, without restriction. Employees must work well with others and have good social and communication skills and be willing to take direction. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School/GED Production TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
NONE PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like. Moving self indifferent positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions. Communicating with others to exchange information. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Operating machinery and/or power tools. Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Low temperatures. High temperatures. Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind. Hazardous conditions. Small and/or enclosed spaces. Adverse environmental conditions expected. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. (N) Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. (C) Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. (C) US Hourly Pay Range
