The actual compensation you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills, education, experience, and other relevant factors. Responsibilities

Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Registers sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Implements customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs). Provides customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. Recommends items for sale, including trade-up and/or companion items. Registers customer purchases, collects cash, distributes change, processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Assists with OTC aisle navigation and product location. Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised, performs inventory and maintains records. Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including pharmacy system use, prescription entry, filling prescriptions, verifying medicine, checking for interactions, and maintaining workflow. Reports prescription errors promptly and complies with pharmacy error and quality improvement programs. Adheres to Walgreens policy on Good Faith Dispensing during prescription dispensing activities. Handles telephone calls that do not require the pharmacist’s personal attention, including calls to physicians. Processes manual claims for third‑party prescription services efficiently. Assists pharmacy department with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing pharmaceutical shipments. Maintains knowledge of store asset protection techniques and manages warranty/overage claims. Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco). Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise. Separates food items according to policy and ensures stock rotation. Uses store systems and equipment effectively. Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photos, poster printing, and promotional product suggestions. Manages web pick‑up responsibilities, monitors orders, fills items, and delivers to customers. Assists with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store appearance. Maintains respectful relationships with coworkers and complies with all company policies and procedures. Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned. Training & Personal Development

Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state required certification/registration. Attends training, completes occupational training plans (OTPs), and gains continuing education credits to maintain knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy. Basic Qualifications

Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications

Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. Prefer previous work experience with Walgreens. Prefer strong math skills for accurate prescription filling, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Prefer good computer skills. Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
