Manager

for our

The

Manager, GAP Claims , is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and compliance of the GAP claims team. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant adjudication of GAP claims while driving operational excellence, team development, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate has a servant leadership mindset, is a subject matter expert, an escalation point, and leader who models accountability, integrity, and customer-focused decision‑making.

Top Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of GAP Claims Processors

Oversee complex, high‑dollar, or escalated GAP claims to ensure proper interpretation of contracts and accurate benefit calculations

Serve as the final decision‑maker for coverage determinations and exception handling within authority limits

Ensure claims operations comply with policy provisions, dealer agreements, lender requirements, and all applicable state and federal regulations

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience

Act as a key point of contact for internal partners, lenders, dealers, and external stakeholders on claims‑related matters

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of GAP Claims Adjudication experience

5 years of customer service

A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred

Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing

Be able to type 45 WPM

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, customers, and the public

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management software

Salary Range:

$60,000- $80,000 annually
